For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: - (i) Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ work experience three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Office Assistant II or in a comparable position. (ii) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) mean grade ‘D’ plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; (iii) Proficiency in computer applications; and (iv) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: Carrying out cleaning work in designated areas; Lifting and moving of equipment and furniture occasionally as need arise to facilitate operations within departments; Undertaking delivery of stores and materials; Preparing and serving refreshments in the department; photocopying documents; and distributing incoming and outgoing mails.
