For appointment to the grade, an officer must have: (i) Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience three (3) years of which should have been in Assistant Housekeeper II or in a comparable and equivalent position; (ii) Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management; Housekeeping and Front Office Management, Housekeeping and laundry operations, Hospitality Management or a related qualification from a recognised institution; (iii) Proficiency in Computer application; and (iv) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail: Supervising and training of staff working under him/her; Carrying out training needs assessments for the staff under; Developing standard operating procedures; Enforcing the use of standard operating procedures; Monitoring the use of standard operating procedures; Ensuring smooth inter-sectional relations; and ensuring training projections are done annually.
