For appointment to the grade, an officer must have: (i) Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience three (3) years of which should have been in Housekeeper I or in a comparable and equivalent position; (ii) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Hotel and Hospitality Management; Event Management, Catering/Accommodation Management, Institutional Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Food and Beverage Production/Management and Service; Food and Beverage Management; or a related qualification from a recognised institution; (iii) Membership to a relevant professional body; (iv) Proficiency in Computer application; and (v) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail: Assisting in the coordination of the daily operations of hospitality services; Holding sensitization workshops to create awareness on environmental, regulatory/statutory regulations; Designing an elaborate security plan for the hospitality management; Establishing safety policies and ensure adherence; Preparation of budgeting for the for-hospitality management; Representing the department in departmental meetings; and ensuring any information coming through the department is passed on to all staff under him/her as and when required.
